Step 2: Lining
LINING. Fabric of your choice. Two layers. Add 1/2 inch on both edges where you cut the pattern in half. On the other edges add 1/4 “ as shown . 
Draw a straight line on the smaller piece to remind you which is the top edge. 
Right sides together . Stitch 1/4 in curves. Then zig zag the edges to prevent fraying . 
1/4 inch. Zig zag top stitch on the front 
Do the same with the bottom sections – 1/4 inch. Zig zag top stitch on the front 
Zigzag the edges where you added the 1/2 extra. ( this is why you drew a line on the smaller lining piece ) . Now fold over the zig zagged edge 1/4 inch and edge stitch. 
Your lining top and bottom should look like this.
